1 - Here follows a GHZ entangled state, that is

2 - Here is a W state, that is

Note: the n partite W state can be built as an iteration of bipartite entanglements:
(3) |Wn+1>  =    &radic n
&radic n+1
  (|Wn>&otimes |0> + |0...0>&otimes|1>)




it is not so for the GHZ state which collapses to a separable state when one single measurement is made:
(4) |GHZn>   &rarr     |0...0> or  |1...1>
